About Nick's Sports Pools

Nick's Sports Pools started as a hobby in 2005 with the Home Run Pool. Then, in 2015 I started doing an NFL Pick Em pool. It all started as a way to bring friends, co-workers, and family together around the games we already love watching. Some friendly competition with some rewards to it. In 2023 I created a website and started expanding on the pools that I wanted to manage. It's grown into a full slate of pools running throughout the year, from Golf in January to Baseball and March Madness in the spring, to Football contests.

What we're about

• Friendly competition, not a betting operation
• Clear rules and deadlines for every contest
• Real communication — you'll always know what's open, what's due, and when
• Free hosting platforms are used where practical so more of your entry fee goes toward prizes, not overhead (some contests do involve third-party platform fees, which are disclosed on those contest pages)
• A few contests are run manually rather than through a third-party platform — those are noted on their pages
